Ensure it’s easy to see and grab when needed by choosing a bright-colored bag or putting bright stickers on it.
Personal Protective Equipment
You’ll want two types of gloves in your kit. A box of latex gloves is ideal, so you have something to protect your hands if you’re dealing with blood or other body fluids. And heavy work gloves are good to have to protect your hands if you need to move debris or sharp objects.

You can find large laminated first aid cards at most first aid stores or online. These quick-reference cards show you step-by-step how to fix wounds, do CPR, and deal with many other injuries or emergencies.
Treatment Supplies
Your kit should have gauze, bandages, tweezers, antiseptic wipes, and anything else you may need to clean and cover a wound.
Personal Medications
It’s a good idea to keep over-the-counter medications like Tylenol, Tums, and antihistamines in case you or someone you’re driving with develops pain or has an allergic reaction to something.
